1. What we collect

When you take the Suburb Hunt quiz, we collect your answers — household type, budget, work arrangement, lifestyle preferences and similar details — to generate your suburb matches. If you unlock the full report, we collect your email address and payment is processed by a third-party provider; we do not store your card details.

We also collect standard usage data (pages viewed, device type, approximate location) via analytics tools.

2. How we use it

• To generate and email your suburb match results
• To send rental alerts for suburbs you've matched with or shortlisted, if you opt in
• To improve the matching logic and suburb content over time
• To respond to support requests sent via the Contact page

3. Third-party services

Suburb Hunt uses third-party services to operate — payment processing, email delivery, and data research tooling (including Apify-based scraping used to source publicly available renter discussion and listing data for suburb content, not your personal quiz answers). These providers process data under their own privacy terms.

4. Data retention

Your dashboard access and associated quiz answers are retained for the 45-day access window plus a reasonable period afterward for support purposes, then deleted or anonymised.

5. Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us via the Contact page.
